do you reach your goals? First you need to decide what your goals are. Perhaps
you have never thought about goals before. You may be more used to referring
to your ‘dreams’, ‘hopes’, or ‘desires’.
Many of us have thought about what we hope for in our life, what we truly
desire, perhaps what we dream of. Whilst it is good to think of what we
want, it is better still to think of life in terms of what we are going
to have. The reason why, in Life Coaching, we refer to goals and not less
concrete terms like ‘dreams, ‘hopes’, or ‘desires’,
is because we can see a goal, and actually envisage it happening. When we
do this, it is much likely to happen. Our dreams, more often than not remain
just that, our dreams, as do our hopes and desires. Goals, on the other
hand are far more tangible, and you can make physical steps towards them
in the form of an action plan |
